The Comics Since 1945 was first published in 2002 and quickly become an important guide to American comics. Due to the success of the first volume, we followed up with The Comics Before 1945 published in 2004. Combined, the two books have sold nearly 30,000 copies. In 2008 we sold Borders a special bind-up proprietary edition of the two books. Borders ordered 25,000 copies of this collected edition and retailed the book for $24.99. We are now bringing this special package to the general trade market at a competitive price.
