Jeff Koehler is an American writer, traveler, and cook. He has written many books and articles on food and culture including his most recent book Morocco: A Culinary Journey with Recipes from the Spice-Scented Markets of Marrakech to the Date-Filled Oasis of Zagora. He has also been a photographer for multiple cookbooks such as Rice, Pasta, Couscous: The Heart of the Mediterranean Kitchen, La Paella: Deliciously Authentic Recipes from Spain's Mediterranean Coast, and Spain: Recipes and Traditions fromt he Verdant Hills of the Basque Country to the Coastal Waters of Andalucia, named a New York Times Notable Book of 2013.
